Once again, both men and women for the Butler Community College Grizzlies ran phenomenally well Saturday, Oct. 29 at the Region IV Prairie Ridge Park Invitational in Hutchinson. For the women, they placed fifth overall with a total of 120 points.
Leading the charge for them was Jade Searles, finishing 14th with a time of 20:12.58.
Following her was Irine Jepkemboi 20:24.85 (21st), Janie Salinas 20:45.97 (26th), Roshae Burrell 21:00.87 (32nd), Jeanna Baker 21:06.70 (34th), Jessica Finney 21:33.63 (43rd), Alex Fulton 21:34.42 (45th), Ariente Sims 21:42.59 (48th), Darian Trost 22:35.24 (67th), and finishing it off for the women was Tesla Madsen 23:06.60 (73rd).

For the men, the finished second overall as a team with a total of 55 points. Leading the men was Boniface Kiptoo, finishing fourth with a time of 26:06.75. After him was Emmanuel Biwott 26:27.06 (6th), Eliud Koech 26:38.59 (7th), Juan Alvarez 27:43.30 (17th), Joel Santiago 27:59.80 (21st), Derrick Reid 28:30.63 (33rd) and Jacob Hesse 28:50.36 (40th) and finishing for the men was Hillary Kiptoo 28:50.36 (41st).

Butler hosted the NJCAA Championship at Prairie Hills Golf Course in El Dorado on Saturday, Nov. 12.
