The Lady Grizzlies were dominant on defense yet again as they were able to shut down the Tigers from Cowley County on Wednesday, Jan. 28. Butler trailed at the end of the first quarter 11-7, but they made a great run in the second, outscoring the Lady Tigers 12-5. Butler controlled that lead throughout the rest of the game, while forcing 17 turnovers on the night.
Butler also out-rebounded the Lady Tigers 40-29 with 12 second chance points.
Sophomore Kyeria Hannah led the way for Butler with 13 points, while Sophomore Raven Prince pulled down 10 rebounds. The Butler women improve to 15-5 overall on the season.
