Three game win streak to end baseball season

The Butler Grizzlies baseball team has a current record of 22-27. That gives them a .449 winning percentage, putting them in seventh in the West Division standings. They have a 13-13 record at home and a 9-14 record on the road. The Grizzlies are also currently on a three game winning streak.

On Saturday, April 22, the Grizzlies started a game of a series of four against Cloud County on the road. Cloud is currently sixth place in the West Division standings with a 27-29 record just under .500. The Grizzlies lost in a seven inning game, 3-0. In the second game of the day, the Grizzlies were able to beat Cloud in a nine inning game, 8-1

Sunday, April 23, the Grizzlies stayed on the road for the third and fourth games against Cloud County. The first game the Grizzlies lost in seven innings, 13-5. The second and final game of the four game series did not go the Grizzlies way again as Cloud won 6-4 in a nine inning game.

On Wednesday, April 26, the Grizzlies remained on the road, but this time it was against McPherson College JV. The Grizzlies were able to beat them 12-10, which was the first game to start the current winning streak for the Grizzlies.

On Friday, April 28, the Grizzlies were finally at home against Longview, Missouri. The Grizzlies were able to beat them 2-0 in seven innings. In the second game, the Grizzlies were able to win in nine innings 4-3.
