Hello everyone, my name is Cat Gonzales and I am sophomore here at Butler Community College. I am majoring in mass communications, and I am the photo and social media editor for the Butler Lantern. I was born and raised in Wichita, graduated from Wichita High School South and still continuing my studies here at Butler.
My hobbies include watching sports with my friends and family, traveling and photography. I want to start traveling all over the world and document about everywhere I have traveled too. I have started my own photograph business called Fotographia De Gonzales (means Photography by Gonzales), that has made my love for photography just grow. Last summer, I had the chance to be an intern for Wichita FC Semi-Professional Soccer team to be there photographer and help with their scoreboard.
I am a mother of two beautiful fur babies. Riley and Leah are both Newfoundlands, and in April they will be turning two years old. Their favorite things are to be the center of attention, especially when I have my camera out.
Overall, I am excited to be on staff of the Butler Lantern and cannot wait to meet new people and see new faces.
