Ashton Hittle
Lantern Staff
Hello, my name is Ashton Hittle. I am a part of the Butler Lantern newspaper. This is my first year at Butler Community College. Eventually, I plan on going to school to be a massage therapist.
I was born and raised in Concordia, and this summer was my first time moving. I was in eight theatre productions in my high school career, and I was also the editor of my high school newspaper, The Panther. I also worked at my hometown radio station, and I was apart of Panther Leadership Council for two years.
I am the youngest in my family. I am very quiet until you get to know me. I have two cats, Ollie and Scrump. You can often find me reading, watching Netflix or hammocking. I have been taking lessons for piano for three years. I also write fiction in my free time for fun. I try to take my family’s dog, Yellow, out for runs, but she is slow. I love to shop even though I never have any money. My favorite color is yellow because it is a happy color. I also love to bake and try new things.
I cannot wait to spend the year here at Butler working on my writing capabilities.
