My name is Rachel McClurg, and I am a sophomore here at Butler. Butler is an awesome school, and I am happy with my decision to come back. I am also the editor-in-chief this year.
I love anything I can do outside of the city. Target shooting, fishing, camping, and watching the sunset from a dirt road are just a few things that I enjoy and I wish I could do them more often. I also have a gun tattoo.
I have lived in Kansas my entire life, and though I have visited other states, there is not a single place I would rather live. Many think it is boring here, but I love it.
In Maize, I have two dogs, a black lab named Max, and a maltese, yorkie mix named Bailey. I am the youngest of four siblings, and I am very family oriented.
When school is in session, I am hanging out with my best friend Brooklyn Barclay 24/7, whether it is watching her play soccer or hanging out in our apartment building.
After Butler, I am hoping to get into the dietetics program at Kansas State University to eventually become a registered dietitian.
