In my own words after taking a single bite: “Ah. Ew. No.” I typically like sweet and spicy foods, hence why I’m probably the only person on the planet who orders pizza with green pepper and pineapple, but the jalapeno twinkie sent my taste buds all the wrong signals the moment it hit them, which is why I exclaimed “is that ranch!?” after taking my second bite. There was no consistency. It was exactly what is expected when throwing a bunch of random foods together and deep-frying it.

This is a surprisingly great choice for a sweet yet spicy treat. The sweet taste is the first thing you get, followed by a warm spicy kick to follow it up. It is quite a different taste than expected. It is a twinkie completely reimagined.

As for a negative, it is also deep fried giving that depressing state fair stomach ache shortly after.

Give it a chance. It comes off a bit strange but will pay off in the end.
