Chaney-Profit enjoys helping student find careers and internships.
“I am incredibly committed to help our students succeed with employment or get an internship, and I am really excited about the potential this position can do,” Chaney-Profit said.
Students heard about the recruitment in June 2019 at the Andover campus. The recruitment helped the company fill 50 open spots and allowed Butler students to gain knowledge from a tax software company. Chaney-Profit sent emails prior to the event and sent them specifically to students who were enrolled in Accounting 1.
The students who were hired as interns were both freshmen and sophomores. Seven out of the 50 were Butler students.
Kristen Schneider is one of the many students who received a paid internship, and at the end, she was given the opportunity of an extended paid internship. Melina Abney, also a student, received a full time employment position.
The internship entailed guiding tax prepares through an industry tax software. The students answered any related tax return questions.
Chaney-Profit sends job notifications often and sends emails corresponding to the requirements by each job position.
Chaney-Profit has job fairs and upcoming recruitment events for more chances to receive a job.
