Wet noses lifting spirits before finals

As students are preparing for their final exams, stress tends to sit in the back of their minds causing more chaos in preparation for finals week.

The sociology and psychology club on campus, SoPsyched, wanted to help students have a little fun before their big tests.

The club worked in collaboration with the community’s furry-loving organization, Love on a Leash. Not only is Love on a Leash providing dogs of different breeds for petting but they also provide a form of emotional connection for students and the dogs.

Students are provided with unconventional relaxation strategies since the simple act of interacting with animals can have a big effect on overall mood and outlook on life.

Since the fall semester began, Love on a Leash had brought puppies to El Dorado three times in hopes of bringing joy to student’s everyday lives before and after their classes.
