Construction in the 5000 and 6000 buildings is proceeding normally, and the east part of the 5000 building, including the parking lot, is now completely gone. Additionally, a small Starbucks will be added to the snack bar in the 5000 building, serving drinks only. Further construction is mostly on schedule, though some areas are slightly behind. The new facilities building is expected to be finished by mid-September, though originally planned for the beginning of the fall semester.
