
Tori Adele Estelle Bethel, 21, of El Dorado passed away on Friday, Oct. 7. Tori was born on August 21, 2001, in Lawrence. Tori was the daughter of Scott and K’ann Bethel. She attended Plainville Elementary School until her family relocated to the Wichita area. She began attending Benton Elementary School in the fifth grade. She would go on to graduate from Circle High School in 2019 and was valedictorian of her class. She began attending Butler Community College and graduated with an associates of science in education in 2021. She was currently attending Emporia State University as an elementary education major and was currently completing her student teaching at Towanda Primary School.
Tori is survived by her parents, Scott and K’ann Bethel of Palco; grandmothers, Sheila Jones and Pat Bethel of Plainville; siblings Skyler Kraft (Teresa) of Larned, Dalton (Larissa) Wilson, Palco, Tiffany (Brooke) Bursiek of Severence Co, Dillon Wilson of Eureka, Tesla (Francis) Moua, Eureka and Tate Bethel of Hays as well as her nieces and nephews (she would tell you they were her world), Barrett Moore, Lexi and Avery Bursiek, Axton Wilson and Greyson and Rowan Kraft and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Tori was preceded in death by grandparents, Delores Franklin, Lloyd Kraft, Don Bethel and Bert Wilson as well as her aunt Sharon Wilson, uncles Eddie Kraft, Edwin (Boze) Kraft, Eric Kraft and cousin Cole Kraft.
Tori didn’t know a stranger and was known for her kindness and that radiant smile.
A memorial luncheon was held for Tori at Noon on Saturday, Oct. 15 followed by a celebration of her life at 2 p.m. at the Redline Church of God 3804 H Road in Palco.
