On Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17, the theatre department will perform “Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood” by Ken Ludwig. Directed by Bob Peterson, the show portrays the legendary Robin Hood in Nottingham.

The story follows the typical Robin Hood plot: Robin Hood, accompanied by Maid Marian and Friar Tuck, are brought face to face with their enemies Prince John and the Sherriff of Nottingham.

Robin Hood will be played by Caden Runnalls, joined by Emma Burnett as Maid Marian and Hayden Cole as the Sherriff. Other characters will be played by Benjamin Bollinger, Jade Darnell, Emma Dunn, Hallie Hart, Hannah Johnson, Chelsie Penner, Josh Staats, Christian Watkins and David Williams.

This play, unlike plays in the past, will allow a limited audience of 118 individuals to watch the performances live. For those who wish to watch the performances in person, admission is free. The play will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Theatre in the 700 building on both days.

Seats can be reserved online in advance by emailing bwonsetler1@butlercc.edu. All in person spectators are required to wear a mask.
